Noel Brewing Co. is the brainchild of Michael and Jenny Gilbert and Kevin and Nikki Perkins. The delightful wares of this fledgling brewery can be tasted at select events throughout the Nashville area and if you're one of the lucky insiders, there's always a keg (or three) on tap at the Gilbert's place.
Known primarily for Ellie's Amber Ale, the good folks at Noel are always experimenting with new ideas. Some recent highlights include Byun in the Sun Summer Ale, and holiday specialty The First Noel.
Noel Brewing Co. has enjoyed excellent reviews from the fine folks in music city lucky enough to have stumbled on to the refreshingly flavorful brew. Aside from asking for a refill, the curious ones always want to know- "what's with the name?"
Legend has it, that if you put the four founders' first names in alphabetical order, you'll find a J, a K, and M and an N, but no L. But who believes legends these days anyway?
Whether you're a mystic or not, if you ever have a chance to try Noel beer, do yourself a favor and believe what you hear...it's that good.
